I'm in Love

With this being the month of love and relationships, I feel it's fitting for me to be in love and be in the spirit of things. I however am not in love with a boy, I'm in love with my DVR. I actually feel like Miranda on SATC when she was in love with Tivo. This is why, I was at home talking on the phone with Jenny and watching TV and my timer went off to get ready to start recording a program. I was a little upset because it should have already been recording CSI for the last half hour. Then Jenny informed me that Grey's Anatomy was getting ready to start and then it clicked in my head that my DVR was getting ready to start recording it. It made me the happiest kid because I did not get to watch it on Sunday night after the superbowl because I was dragged to H&A for some cocktails by Jenn and DVR didn't record it that night because of the screwy time.

So you're in love with the DVR?

When I saw the title of this post I thought you'd be revealing some feelings about your BOYFRIEND Jason.

No, revealing of feelings. It is way too soon to do any such things.

Eve, you crack me up. Not that I'm not in love with the hubby, but it is much easier to love animals or inanimate objects than it is people sometimes. Purses, shoes, dogs, DVRs- none of them break up with you, lie to you, cheat on you, screw you over, use you, or piss you off. I'm not angry at anybody, but it's true. Especially if you know my sister. Have a nice day everyone!

hahaha... Tibbs, you crack me up with your enthusiastic sarcasm.

I, too, am in love with the DVR. It allowed me to study for my comps and watch Grey's today instead of yesterday. Plus, I didn't have to die from suspense as much as all the kids who had to suffer through all the commercials did!

So I would like to know what happened on Grey's on Sun. since it appears that everyone saw it, I fell asleep when they were moving him to another part of the hosital. I feel like I am out of the loop without a DVR. Sarah when do you have your comps? I think that we should have a big celebration when those are finished, I am have mine in April. Meg- I do sometimes feel like my shoes do use me and piss me off, I mean what the heck is up with all those blisters and associated pain, I mean come on, what else would make you walk around bare foot downtown, I guess that sometimes it just hurts to look good. Despite this I still would take those horrible shoes anyday over some loser of a guy who would probally, in no way, make me look good.

I am also in love with shoes!!! I have purchased 3 pairs in the last 2 days. I justify that they are my v-day presents to myself because I do not think that the b-friend (or whatever he is) will get me anything.

Jen- You are so right about the shoes. Here's the equation-
2 heels+ 8 vodka tonics+ 1 night downtown= 1 very barefoot, very f*@#*ed up Meg.

Happy V-Day everyone!

My comps were yesterday... I can celebrate as soon as I know I passed it. I have a feeling I messed up on the stats. *sigh* The part of my brain that was meant for research methods has a learning disability.

You MUST watch Grey's. It was outstanding. If Josh would not have erased it, I would have watched it again. BTW, the first season came out on DVD today... Happy Valentine's Day!

Did anyone watch the Bachelor?? Meg? I am addicted to dumbest sh*t, I really am. Grey's is good, almost educational TV. The Bachelor and my soap opera (General Hospital) are not educational or even quality TV, but I love ‘em.
DVR is the best invention yet. I love it. I never miss a thing and I can fast forward through all the lame commercials!

Congrats Fave!!! I know you did great!

Les- I am a bachelorholic. It's retarded. If you'd like to dish about last week's episode, or speculate about who he'll pick and how stupid she is, please contact me immediately.

I really do love that show too. And I agree the girls that are left suck. If anyone would like to nominate me (the only single one left) to be the next bachlorette, i am ok with that.

I did get to see Grey's last night, (thanks to the kind reminder of Evelyn) and I loved it. Although I was switching between that and the olympics and I am still wondering, what happened to the head of the bomb squad? I have been thinking about it all day. Can anyone fill me in?

Jen- I regret to inform you that the head of the bomb squad became "pink mist".

Jen- also, I will nominate you for the next bachelorette.

I can not believe that. That is awful. Talk about putting your life on the line for your job. i thought I had it rough. I think I need to re-evaluate.

Yes, pink mist all over Meredith. I wish McDreamy would have swooped her in his arms and kissed her, not said... "Glad you didn't die."

Now with Travis...he is a hunk, why is he left with crazy Moana and boring Sara? I thought Susan was pretty, but she was a faker so I’m glad she got the boot. Who will be the winner?? I'm thinking Sara. The next episode is when all the b*tches get to confront each other about talking crap during the show. I love it…

Jenny--I will write the letter of recommendation to the ABC Corporation right now. Jenny for Bacholrette!!! Can I be the friend who comes in and interviews the hotties to see who gets to go on 1 on 1 date with you?
